Kerbed, scratched or tired wheels brought back to a clean finish. Single wheel £80, 2 wheels £120, full set £199.
Cracked or buckled wheels need inspection first. Send us photos on WhatsApp and we will advise before you book.
Alloy wheel refurbishment is worth doing when kerb rash, scuffs or chips spoil the look of your car, when the lacquer starts peeling or turning cloudy, or when white corrosion creeps in around the rim edge. It is also the easiest way to change the colour of your wheels without buying a new set.
Popular choices include factory silver, gloss black, satin black, gunmetal grey and bronze, but we can match most colours. Each wheel is stripped of loose paint and corrosion, repaired, primed, painted and lacquered so the finish is durable as well as smart. Ask us about two-tone looks or painting just the lips or spokes.
Cosmetic damage such as scrapes and gouges can be filled and refinished. A buckled or cracked wheel is a safety issue and needs specialist straightening or replacement, so we will always tell you honestly if a wheel is not safe to refurbish.
Alloy wheel refurbishment is a good moment to check your tyres. Look at tread depth, cracking and bulges, and see TyreSafe’s tyre safety advice for the legal limits. You can also add caliper painting for a finished look behind the new wheels.
Leave the new lacquer for a week before using a pressure washer. After that, wash with a pH-neutral wheel cleaner and a soft brush, and avoid acidic cleaners that can dull the finish.
We refurbish alloys for drivers from Catford, Lewisham, Bellingham, Hither Green, Lee, Forest Hill, Sydenham, Beckenham and Bromley. Book your alloy wheel refurbishment online or send photos of the damage on WhatsApp for a free quote.
Kerb rash repair is the most common job we do: the damaged lip is filled, smoothed and refinished so the scrape disappears. For deeper gouges, alloy wheel repair is carried out before painting. An alloy wheel colour change is popular too, with gloss black alloys the favourite, followed by gunmetal and bronze. The wheel refurbishment cost is £80 for one wheel, £120 for two and £199 for a set of four.
Diamond-cut work and very large wheels are confirmed after inspection.
Send a photo of your car on WhatsApp and we will reply with a price.
A full set of four wheels takes 5 to 6 hours, so you can collect your car the same day.
